Welcome!

Welcome to FORM: my signature Hybrid Training Program!

Congratulations on taking the next step towards becoming a more powerful athlete! Whether you're here because you want to be faster/stronger, want to try something new, or want to train like me, you've come to the right place. Beyond just a shiny new fitness regimen, this program will also serve you as:

  1. A strong knowledge resource for fitness & martial arts
  2. A solid foundation for higher-level training
  3. An engaging way to make exercising fun & exciting!

Throughout the 8 levels of this course, you'll learn how I've conditioned my body for martial arts tricking, dance, and athletics. There's a diverse mix of both traditional exercises, sport-specific drills, martial arts techniques, and some of my own specialty movement; this way, whether you have a background in resistance training, plyometrics, calisthenics, or are starting fresh, you'll be taken care of!

Each level is split into three sections: Push, Pull, and Technique, and it is recommended that you complete each section at least once per week.

The PUSH section will be mainly focusing on plyometric & calisthenic movements, such as jump squats and pushups. This section is designed to help you become more familiar with the base movements of the technique sections, while also strengthening vital muscle groups. One of the recurring elements you'll see here is shoulder conditioning, this is for you to become comfortable with inversion and formidable on all four limbs.

The PULL sections focus more on resistance training and mobility exercises, such as pull-ups and side lunges. Here the intent is to identify major muscle groups and be able to target them effectively (and safely) with specific movements. Again, this section is designed to build up muscle and mind-body connections for the demands of the technique sections.

Finally, the TECHNIQUE sections will focus on building a solid repertoire of skills from various martial arts & dance, including but not limited to: Kungfu, Capoeira, Bboying, Taekwondo, Ballet, Boxing, & Bokator. Many, if not all of these techniques will be pretty foreign to fitness veterans and newcomers alike, which is why we will begin with simple movements and then build upon them for the duration of the program. So don't be afraid to review, and definitely don't be discouraged if you don't get everything right away!

Below, you'll find a pdf of the entire program with brief exercise descriptions and several resources. I recommend keeping the pdf file on your phone to consult whenever need be. In section 2 of this course, each level is broken down into their simplest components, as well as featuring three different videos per level where I explain and demonstrate each exercise in detail. There are also individual pdfs of each level in each of their sections for you to view as well. Aside from that, there are several other resources in section 3 that you may choose to utilize as well, but that's pretty much it for the program!

Be safe, don't forget to stretch, and most importantly: enjoy the journey!

Hey check it out!

An entire e-book with fun graphics & academic citations! There's some pretty useful information and scientific resources in there, so it might be worth a look, but you can absolutely still complete this program without it.
