Level intro
Level 1 (transcription):
"Starting off, we’re going to be focusing on balance & stability for the most part with a small introduction to flow movements. Being able to move from one stable position to another is quintessential to any exercise, but we’re also going to be exploring some more artful applications of this concept. Our objectives for this level are listed below and shouldn’t be too much of a challenge, so let’s think about being deliberate in our movements and our breathing."
Lesson Summary
Level 1 of the training program focuses on balance, stability, and an introduction to flow movements. The key objectives for this level are:
- Developing balance and stability skills
- Learning to move from one stable position to another
- Exploring artful applications of balance and stability
It is important to be deliberate in movements and breathing while undertaking the exercises at this level. Most of these will feel simple and possibly even a little reductive, but training intrinsic muscles and improving stability is crucial for developing and reinforcing high level performance. Think of these workouts as necessary maintenance.
